Lead mediator
In a co-mediation situation, the mediator who leads or has the most authority to guide the mediation process
Legitimate power
Influence we have because of our formal position or role
Limbic system
the part of the brain that is associated with instinctive survival impulses
Listening
the process of receiving, attending to, and assigning meaning to aural stimuli
Low-context (LC) communication
a message in which the mass of the information is vested in the explicit code, used to define cultures in communication
