Overview

SERAPAZ is a non profit organization established in 1996 to follow up the peace dialog process after the Zapatistas uprising in Chiapa in 1994. Since then the organization has developed a series of mechanisms to facilitate peace building using the positive conflict transformation methodology. The peace school has been running for 6 years graduating 275 peace building promoters from several regions in the country including indigenous communities, also SERAPAZ has been a key mediator in several emblematic conflicts within Mexico. SERAPAZ has a partnership with several church organizations from Europe, including internship and long term volunteer services. Also we have an active relationship with Amnesty International Canada
