The CRE Connection is pleased to host guest expert sessions with distinguished educators and administrators working in the Conflict Resolution Education and Peace Education fields. The online web meetings are available to a limited number of people for the live event. We hope to make recorded sessions available after the event. Our current featured guest is/was:

Conflict Resolution Educational Gaming: Behind the Scenes with Cool School & Harmony Island
This online event, part of the International Conflict Resolution Day celebrations, will feature conversation with some of the people behind Cool School (a grade K-3 appropriate game on resolving conflicts in school) and Harmony Island (a grade 6-12 appropriate game teaching CR skills in a tropical setting).
Our confirmed guests include F.J. Lennon (producer of Cool School), Melanie Killen Ph.D. from the University of Maryland (developer of the age-appropriate scenarios in Cool School) and Richard Goldsworthy Ph.D., CEO/Director of Academic Edge, Inc. (producer of Harmony Island).
As a special bonus, a drawing will be held on October 15th (CR Day) where we will be giving away multiple copies of these two great games. We hope you can join us for this special event.
